Is something going around? Our internet went down last week. We had to call and do the unplug-replug dance. They sent a signal and got it working for a full ten minutes then it went down again. Then started back working normally about two hours later.
It's not like they meant to. None of us knew until recently. The girls had lice earlier this year, too, but we got rid of them after some serious Pain and Suffering.
I'm wondering how they got them again so quickly. I hope it's just a function of school and not a nest somewhere around the house. Now that would suck.
Dunno about Internet bug, but we had about three different people moving in and out in the past few weeks, so I'm guessing someone just disconnected the wrong wires. It would've been all good, if they hadn't wasted so much of my time and energy.
I really feel bad for taking out my frustration on poor Mr. Roger. He really was a peach for listening to me and being so calm with me. I'm in customer service. I know how that is.

I've dealt with fleas in the past. Not fun, especially if you have carpet of any kind. And I'm the kind of person that biting bugs flock to at gatherings, so they always try to eat me alive, literally. Good luck with that, seriously. There's all kinds of effective pesticides and treatments on the market, but be wary for the little guy.
Teh sick, on the other hand, is my brother's fault. He got gobsmacked by it, and cheerfully passed it on to me. Thankfully, it's finally starting to go away. I'm hoping it stays that way.

How about you get Big Boss Lady some shower gel or something like that? That's something everybody likes, especially if you get something for 'young skin' ^__^
Yes, it was a stressful week, for certain, but thank you. Writing it out was such a stress reliever. And it's almost over, thank God. I have sworn on something dear and holy that I will not be working come my next day off, even when they call me and beg.
Big Boss Lady isn't that bad, I don't think, but the problem is I've only been at this store for a few months. Bath stuff is always a good fallback, but I don't want to be completely predictable, so I was thinking a variation on the theme. She always looks a little stressed, and since my brothers have worked with her a few years-gone past, and they tell me she always liked to complain about not having socks, I was thinking of doing a foot care package: A tree of socks, some lotion, a foot soak, maybe a buffer. And, if I can manage it sometime in the next few hours, maybe a cute rhyme to go along with it.
We'll see. It's time for a tired Quill to go shopping. ^_^
(Now if only I can get the rest of my significant shopping list crossed off before the 24th....)
