Have a terrible headache. It's not quite a migraine, but it's close. And my living room is full of brothers and friends who are playing the zombie-killing version of Black Ops. And the game is blaring heavy metal.

Also: cramps, nausea, general discomfort, and an emotional stability in the black zone. I want to curl up and die.

I've always loved kids, and always thought having them would be worth all the suffering, too. My mom had six kids, and a big, close-knit family like the ones my parents gave me and my siblings is an intention that's always hovered in the back of my mind.

But alas, I have no children and thus have no payoff. Without the payoff, the suffering really seems unfair sometimes.

On the upside, my headache has receded into a distant ache that I barely notice. ;-)

Wow.

WOW.

*whistles in admiration*

If you can write this amazing material while suffering from a headache o' d00m, then I have no freakin' excuse for not completing a much-less-intense piece of my own.

While I thank you for the compliment, I can't take credit for writing this in one sitting while in a brain-vise. This is a bit from a story I've been working on for a while. All I did mid-ache was some revision.

Not to discourage you from writing in any way, shape or form, of course. Put a millstone around my neck and drop me in the middle of the ocean if it seems like it.

God knows we of the writing type don't get enough encouragement. :-)

Oh, not discouraged at all! More like encouraged to do renewed battle with the bunnies instead of slacking off!
