does anyone know of a website that has information on what to feed kids
ages 1 and up?
i am looking to educate myself on weaning formula, intorducing milk?
solids ingeneral

or if you know of a really good book that helped you
please pass that along also :)

I've found the Super Baby Food book very helpful as we introduce Yikes to solid foods. I haven't looked at the part for older kids though. I'll look tonight. If it seems useful I'd be glad to lend it to you. warning: she's a health food/safety nut. In my opinion you have to ignore a lot of what she says. But it's worth it because the actual information - how much food, what type of food when, etc. is so clear and easy to follow and understand.

My kids were really easy formula weans...Once I go the OK from the doctor I just started giving it to them. It has been recommended mixing milk with formula, but my kids hated that. We also weaned from bottles at the same time. Formula came in bottles, but milk came in sippy cups, which was alot more interesting to them. Hobbes flat refused to take a bottle or formula before he turned one.
