So, this used to be a post about the Iliad, but it isn't anymore! I have stolen it in order to make the new improved final (long) third of this fic come to life. Hopefully you will be reading this for the first time and wondering what the heck I'm on about, but otherwise apologies for making a mess ( Read more... )

Hmm, I'm not sure I get what Giles's problem is, have to say.

Otherwise, I ended this bit wanting to slap Lydia for being deliberately cryptic. Why can't she just answer Buffy's questions?

Also, I loved Drusilla's origin story. Made perfect sense of all the muddled up stuff in canon.

Well, Giles will undoubtedly make his position as clear as it might be!

I sort of thought Lydia did answer Buffy's questions, if indirectly... No one likes being interrogated - and she's still figuring out some stuff, I think.

Thanks! :D I was looking up Catholic churches in the 19th century to think about where she might have lived and then for some reason I started thinking about s1 of Ripper Street, back when I watched it. I've been trying to come up with a satisfactory fanwank for that mining business for years...
