Oh, I'm actually not convinced that philotics aren't fictional. I've seen too many relationships, too many loves develop and crumble online. People are a huge part of others' lives just due to text on a page. That sounds like the connection of philotics to me. I've never heard of a bad meeting between people who truly met and truly became a part of another's life online. I'm not talking about creepers in chat rooms, I'm talking games. Families, where people have known each other for, in many cases, years, and seeing someone in person is just a progression. I've seen, I believe no less than five marriages come out of games. (including my own.)
