Washing Opinions

I'm thinking about another new dress in the next 2 days, the question is about pre-washing. It is 50%wool, 50% silk, very light weight. I will be washing it on cold, and drying flat when I have to wash it. So do I need to pre-wash and dry all that fabric? How should I do it?

yes pre wash, you'll wash it eventually, right? It's the same blue that I found in Washougal? I washed mine in warm with baby shampoo and dried it in the dryer. Washes up very nicely.
