Not that I don't believe you, but I'm finding that really hard to believe.. Half.com users set their own prices. There has to be books priced lower than the bookstore.
go look for sociology: windows on society by Lauer 7th edition. these people are charging $35 for a book in "good" condition! the lowest i could find was $29, but that is still higher than used at the bookstore. ALL my books are coming up this way (although i only have 3 classes and 2 labs right now, but i have to take my placement tests first).
Amazon.uk is a secret of mine...the same books sell for less in europe cause there's less demand for college textbooks there. Shipping is negligable ;)

I've *always* found half.com to be cheaper.
