does anyone know if you lose a scholarship right away after your first semester? For example,im a freshman and i needed a 3.0 to maintain my scholarship. i ended with a 2.932, will i lose it right away?

No.
I don't think they look at that until financial aide time rolls around in the Spring.
And then they determine if you get it or not.

they give you a semester grace period. you'll get a warning letter and then you get the 1 extra semester to get a 3.0 for that semester as well as get your cum up to a 3.0.

They will probably send you a letter if you do not bring it up to a 3.0 by the end of spring semester. Then you will have the fall semester to bring it up. If you don't by then they will most likely take it away.
