Hi, I'm a high school senior and I'm most likely going to come to quinipiac next year. i read a previous entry from a couple years ago about the pep band/hamden orchestra and i was just wondering if maybe there's someone i could talk to about it? Thanks!

I really do not know too much about the pep band besides the fact that they exist and are often at our games. I know a few people in it so if you have a certain question, I should be able to get an answer for ya.

Haha. This is so weird...I haven't looked at this community page since I first posted about the pep band/hamden symphony, but something inspired me to take a look at it. I did end up attending Quinnipiac and joined two fabulous bands on campus. Being a part of the bands has been quite time consuming, but extremely rewarding and fun. I was worried that my musicianship would falter if I attended a college without a concert band, but finding opportunities to play was not a problem. The Hamden symphony was currently not accepting wind players when I first spoke to them, but playing in the pep band and QU jazz ensemble satisfied my musical craving in my first year at QU. As far as the pep band goes, I never realized how much I would appreciate not having to stand in a mile-long line for my QU/Yale hockey ticket. Attending the games is a blast and you really feel as if you are a part of team itself
