Dear Q; I stumbled onto your journal. Looks like someone you truly love has broken your heart. That's a bad kind of lonely right next to someone dying. I'm so sorry to think of you having that kind of emptiness. I hope you know it will strengthen your character if you survive. I had my heart broken over 20 years ago and I still wish I could just go tell her I have loved her all these years. You are a beautiful young woman and life is not always fair. As you cry more tears (because you will of necessity) please know that somewhere there is a someone out there who will be so blessed to have someone like you with a big strong heart that can love as strongly as yours does. Our paths may never cross but if they did, I'd want to give you something to remember for the rest of your life which is why I am writing this.
