i used to volunteer at a soup kitchen in pilsen--when i was at loyola they'd let us leave work early to go there and volunteer...us as in me and a couple others. one of the most incredible and meaningful experiences of my life. had no idea about the art.

apparently the first friday of the month you can go the MCA in the evening and pay like $10 and eat wolf gang puck passed foods, drink wine, there's a dj playing music, and you can walk around the museum. would be good to do that soon while warhol is still there. and by the way, just saw the warhol and it was very much worth it. there's a gerhard richter at the MCA and i had no idea. great visit all around.
