Alternate titles for this entry included "I love the smell of burning flesh in the morning" and "Oh God, I'm so glad that patient is unconscious".

Cut for rambling story )

I had a chest xray once. I had to wear a floral gown and some old people laughed at me :(

If you're irradiated now, does that mean you will mutate and get super powers? Or glow in the dark? Better than radiation sickness, I guess ;)

Unfortunatly, we ask female patients to change into hospital gowns for chest x-rays because they often wear things that create artifacts on the images. The most obvious offender is underwired bras, funnily enough, which create a large white line across the lung fields. We don't like having to repeat images, since that increases the patient dose. I have my assessment on chest x-rays during this week (probably), so this is rather critical.

As for superpowers, I have yet to manifest any, although the urge to create a Radiation based hero in City of Heroes is rising.
