Oh, Honore... hermitbird February 8 2004, 05:40:24 UTC
wow, I wouldn't trust mr. von hagen's sensibilities; the morbidity of being tweaked for fat and tissue in a cold factory in china has it's draw... I had been thinking of the finished product, in a sort of anti-egoistic endeavor: let 'em have me and let 'em go venturing from gut-curling exhibit to exhibit looking for myrtle instead of my paintings. where is myrtle (not: where are myrtles)? there's a game, it could be fun- I'd be interested in that, as I'd have no say afterwards, and it's for educational purposes; the same, say, as leaving a body of work (who gets charge of that? and why does it bother to extend itself past my awareness of it or ability to create more? especially when my "audience" has gone or ignores me, which means my ability to chose has gone, so it's not mine, after all)... then I took the tour of M. Fragonard's place and decided I'd like to nestle in there- the light is pretty, and so's th' company (no?). As opposed to feeding a tree. Can we resurrect Honore?

You should do the honors, miss quinsters.

you could be displayed in front of an easel with one of your paintings.

i would have a pipe ;-} nestled in a warm wood and glass case of a museum somewhere in Europe. maybe Cuba?

Oh, and "Dalian" as related to "Dalinian," which is much more enticing and more in tandem with M. Fragonard. That horse! Compared to that, Von Hagens is purely scatological!

Thank God. I've seriously been looking for the Fragonard website for the longest time. I came across it once, and then I could never remember his name. It was very frustrating. Excelsior.

"Groupe de foetus humains dansant la gigue," that's the one that got me; that's a keeper. It'll be four in the morning about a year from now and I'll sit straight up in bed in a cold sweat, I just know it.

Do you think von Hagens takes orders online? I want a corpse! (I'd be satisfied with a hand of glory, though)

I know it surpasses my old George.
yes, what a lovely addition to any decore a Hagens corpse would make!
