One of the bad things about doing a philosophy course outside the normal university environment is that you don't receive the support of an academic library. So I've been pretty much relying on reading the set texts and muddling along. Kierkegaard doesn't receive a mention in Bertie's History book is because Kierkegaard was just beginning to be re-discovered in English philosophy. Bertie does add Kierkegaard to his second history book, Wisdom of the West however.
