Oh no!! Poor Tenderheart Bear! You couldn't rescue him and give him to a charity shop?

The next day Tenderheart Bear wasn't there, and the skip was otherwise unchanged. Therefore I think all available evidence suggests that (s)he was rescued. (S)He was in good condition, so I wouldn't be surprised if one of the schoolchildren now has a new friend.

Sorry to hear you didn't kick some serious backside!

The last time I played Ice Age I decided to try the 'starvation strategy', as demonstrated so well by Simon H at Dave and Annie's bash in August. It was really staggeringly effective - I came from a good hundred points behind the apparent leader to roughly that much ahead. As I'm generally very poor at games (I mainly go with the 'it's the taking part not the winning!') it was really very satisfying. As my opponents will be expecting that strategy next time, I'm afraid it won't have the same impact but it'll be interesting to see if I can make it work again.
