I think people like you and I tend to be attracted to girls who are innately bad for us, and perhaps bad for people in general. Is it a savior complex, the need to challenge ourselves, a sort of taming of the shrew? I don't know, but I do know this - never spend over a couple of months on one of these infatuations. A year is far too long. Move on to the next one who'll grab your attention for a couple of months.
