 I got a reply from Sheffield Uni around 2pm today- a rejection.

That makes 2/5 rejections from universities. For medicine. And they're from the two that I really wanted to go to.

For the first ten minutes or so I sat there crying. and thought 'maybe I'm not meant to do Medicine, maybe I really overestimated myself by thinking I could get into ( Read more... )

 i've just downloaded an anti-virus program onto my real computer (the one im using here is my sister's apple mac), and i'm pretty sure it\s actually DOING something about the messed up system D:

I got the news just before. In a tiny envelope, so I could guess what was coming. A rejection from Leeds Uni to do Medicine.
Mmm... Not sure what to make of it really. Leeds was one of the uni's I really wanted to go to, along with Sheffield. If I got a rejection from Sheffield now, too, I'd seriously want to curl up and cry.

I didn't actually do much for it :/ Wandering around Chinatown got cancelled so I did a little round on the way back from voluntary (WHERE I HEARD A BABY BEING BORN. I NEVER WANT TO HAVE CHILDREN, NOT NEVER O.O ) but everything was pretty much the same as last year 8|

Had my first exam of the year today (Oh wait, I actually had general studies before, but that hardly counts >___> )- CHEMISTRY.
Errmm... It was okay. LOL. I didn't realize that water could be an impurity in infra-red spectrums, though *DO-NOT-WANT-FACE*.

Haven't been doing much but revising for exams. There's only about 1 lesson per day so I've hardly got any past papers to do anymore as revision. :|
