I just stood up and flipped my television off... then said aloud (to no one in particular) that I was going to write the Coen brothers and tell them I was utterly disappointed in the movie "Fargo" and that it was a waste of 2 hours of my life. I would have at least liked the reason that Mr. Lundegaard needed so many hundreds of thousands of

It's been awhile since I've seen it. Actually, I watched it for a film class and found it moderately entertaining. I don't remember who Mr. Lundergaard is, but I thought the idea was that the car sales man was selling stolen cars and needed to pay off someone for VIN numbers. I could be totally off.
We saw Over the Hedge this weekend. I laughed my ass off. Yes I love family movies. You know what I realized though? Donovan and other kids like him will never enjoy a true cartoon movie. They are all computer animation and anime. I remember watching Raggedy Ann and Andy in the theater. What was the last cartoon movie in theaters any way?

There was definitely some humour in it... dark humour... but the picture moved so slow, I think I could have told the story better and in about a half an hour...

And even if he was selling off stolen cars... what was he doing with all the money that he needed to reproduce MORE money to replace $320,000 that the bank wanted back?

I dunno... the Coen brothers are real hit and miss for me.

Yeah, Donovan's favorite movies right now are Madagascar, Robots and another computer "animated" firetruck short movie. Is it such a shame though? I don't mind CGI stuff, as long as it isn't a shitty substitute for sweet ass special effects that should exist...

No, not a shame really, but it does make me feel old. My aunt remembers listening to the radio programs for entertainment. So now I can empathize.
Do Raggedy Ann and Andy still exsist?

Wait, are you questioning the savings mentality of a sleezeball? Did he seem like the kind of guy that had a 401K chockfulla blue chip mutual funds? It's been awhile since I've seen it to but I remember him being the only real shishter in the movie.
