My grandmother is dying, right now, and well. May I be as lucky.

She is my mother's mother, the last of my grandparents. With the exception of her delightful sister, she is the last of her generation on either side of my family. She and I were never terribly close, but I'm the eldest of her grandchildren, the eldest of her eldest, and thus hold
