"I was in the neighborhood," he said, and there was something just subtly off about the way Maxxie was acting, but Marshall was distracted enough that he hardly noticed.
"I was going to come by the other day, I just..." He shrugged.

He leaves the dresser, and the collection of shirts, and saunters over to Marshall, forcing himself to be calm. He doesn't know for sure how long Marshall's known Lionel's around, but he figures he has to know. He probably needs a friend, or a distraction, right now, and Maxxie's both.
He slips his arms over Marshall's shoulders and kisses him lightly. "It's good to see you," Maxxie murmurs, lingering by his lips.
