A whale...

adfdxfsdfasd ITS A WHALE.

Surely this is a sign that we will soon be underwater and Daddy cant hold his breath for that long though surely I'd make a wonderful merman - Kyouya, note that down for the host club later use! - but really now while it wouldn't damage my beauty I'm just sure the salt wouldn't be good for the pores of the ( Read more... )

You mean like hot cocoa?

Not... quite.

But we should keep that on stock too! The water would get cold and surely it wouldn't be right if we didn't have cocoa for everyone!

Oh. Is this another custom of rich humans?

T-That's right! It's our responsibility to keep everyone well-equpped and happy! And that has to include having hot cocoa for everyone!

The buildings here are awfully tall. Couldn't we all just... move up? There was a whole race back in Oz that lived in funny little houses supported above a swamp. I mean it was a positively dreadful place, but so is this, so I don't see how having to live over water could be any worse!

It's not that dreadful! You just... have to look really really really hard for the shinier parts of it.

And I'm sure moving up is an option but if we did that then how would we get from building to building? I know swimming is an option, but didn't you say you liked nice dresses, Miss Glinda? It would be a terrible waste if you had to swim in those, instead of being able to show them off.

Oh I travel by bubble, dear. But I suppose not everyone has alternative ways of getting about. There are a lot of strong men around here though, I'm sure they could... build something.

Look...just because the monster dropped it's lunch doesn't mean we're about to be under water. You're blowing everything out of poportion.

Danny! Great! I was wondering where you were! Do you know where I could find any fish bowls!?

I almost hate to ask...

...What do you need fishbowls for?

For the bubble suits!

I... don't think that's how it works. Maidens?

quite_excitable October 2 2008, 03:29:08 UTC
But of course thats how it works! Salt water stays on the skin for too long and you just simply need a moisturizer.

No, no, no... I mean the whale to underwater--nevermind.

Why are you so worried about finding a moisturizer for yourself, anyway? It's not like a little dry skin ever killed anyone or anything.

It's not for me! It's for the ladies. Worrying about her skin shouldn't have to be on a lady's mind, so a moisturizer would do just the trick.
