Dearest sirs and madams, I have the pleasure of introducing a creature of the highest regards, one which has not been seen in your mortal world since… Well, I am not sure when. Or from whence I came. This is certainly not Avalon or my court. The metal is distasteful and crude.

I am sure there is something I might do to change that!

Shakespearean characters, now?

I wonder when my creations will start to appear here!

Pardon my ignorance, Shakespearean who?

Nothing worth mentioning again.

I've encountered more than once someone claiming to be an Angel on this vessel, but I do believe you are my first fae.

The Marquis de Sade, at your service.

A pleasure, Marquis de Sade!

I'm surprised you are aware of us. Most mortals are far too ignorant. I commend you on your abilities!

...

Where is this 'vessel,' by the by?

Puck? What kind of name is that?

Well to be fair, I did mention that I have been given many names.

You can blame the mortals who decided that giving us names is proper way to deal with beings beyond their small little imaginations. Call me what you find most suitable, I assure you I am used to it.

Sir... Who now?

Certainly not god, dear me that would be dreary. I believe mortals so call us Faeries. Fair Folk. Fae. All manner of names, they never could make up their minds, poor things.

If the mortal world is not your own, then I may inquire which one is?

All gods I have met have been so passive. What fun is being omnipotent without entertainment? Even my Liege knows well the benefits of laughter.

Ah, the North!
Somehow I get the feeling that your title makes you much different from the gods of the Sídhe. The pleasure is all mine, Loki of Asgard.

So, what brings you here?

If I would only be informed of this purpose, then I would be able to tell you. As it stands, I do not know.

Do you?

Well excuse-moi, monsieur. I would gladly depart if I could find the exit from this place and thus have no part in his trickeries. But it seems I cannot find one!
