I'm back from England. And I'm giving myself the day off....sort of.

Things to do today
- sleep, lots
- laundry
- trip to Hobby Lobby for new sketchbooks
- soak stamps
- pack at least five boxes
- clean fridge
- download all pictures to external hard drive

- visit friends!!

I'm leaving tomorrow for England, just in case you didn't know.

I'll be back in two weeks, and then I'll be in Oshkosh for a bit.

If you feel it absolutely necessary to see me before I hop the pond....I'll be in my kitchen doing dishes.

I'm working on my last research paper.

1,803 words down, just 700 more to go.

And I've still got until 3pm.

Seriously, I can do this.

But I really need a shower.

I suppose I should say that once upon a time there was this boy, who I am very much in love with, and he took me out to the breakwater late one night, and asked a simple question and put a small silver ring on my finger when my answer was yes.

Richard and I are engaged. And I haven't stopped smiling!

In just 13 days it will be my birthday.

But I have no desire to celebrate it in the usual way.
