I like the way you describe Rikku's scent, it's really poetic. However, I found the way Gippal doesn't say 'h' (i.e. I love 'er) distracting. Same with the nothin', but not having the 'g' isn't as bad for me as the 'h' (wait... did that make sense???)

Anyway, good job! It's a sweet story :)
