second part of vacation

After returning from the coast I went with a friend of mine, Mazy from the U.S., to visit the central highlands. We weren’t sure exactly what we were going to do when we set off. High elevations are the worst! Pretty much anytime I go above 1000ft, I get altitude sickness. The highest I've been was about 7000ft, and I passed out and nearly landed in a ceremonial pit of the Anazasi Indians. Luckily, I didn't desecrate any national landmarks that day!

Living in quito at 9, 350ft, would be hard for you to get used to then. But when you go back to sea level it feels like you are super human!
