Overall I'd say LJ is still the best blog, but at the same time they're very similar to others. Guess they all follow some of the same path.

Hehe, I do expect that if this isn't resolved favorably (to us users, that is), it'll cause a major virtual revolution. And I'm really curious how that's going to be like. Ooh, exciting...! XD

I haven't read all of the link you shared, but to be honest, even with all of LJ's recent stupidity, I've actually never thought of leaving LJ. Right now I just want them to bring back Basic Accounts for new users and I want them to assure us Basic Accounts will forever be around. If not, that's really going to suck. But saying that is all I can really do because yeah, kind of like what you said, there's really no point in leaving LJ as other blogging sites will just be basically the same. :þ
