give natural a whirl! if you get bored, you can always go blonde again.
i've been thinking more and more about going back to my natural blonde, but there are so many layers of black dye on my hair that i would pretty much have to chop it all off, which i am NOT ready to do, especially now that my hair is longer than it has been in YEARS!
I think I might bring it up to my stylist when I see her this friday.
In all honesty, I just can't afford to have her color my hair. She's colored it about 2-3 times (well bleaching with toner) but it is still SO expensive, and I've dyed my own hair for literally a decade and I just can't stomach the price when I know how much the materials are. (I used to used to buy my peroxide and toner from my salon). Oh sigh.
Luckily my natural color is almost a dark-blonde, so while it won't be any where near my current blonde-- it won't be like brunette on me. Maybe I'll give it a whirl afterall. :]
I already gave you my two cents...troublecityJanuary 3 2008, 21:56:52 UTC
...but in case you needed it again, I'd try natural. It can't hurt, and god knows it's cheaper. Who knows...it might help your eyes stand out more. And my hair was a whole lot shinier when I left it the hell alone.

I think I might bite the bullet. I'll talk with Vannia about it tomorrow. I might stay blonde for one more round-- and then off to natural i go.
But if she's feeling it (and not stressed about changing her dying plans -- in case she already pre-mixed before i got there) than maybe i'll do it tomorrow!

So, I stayed with blond. Vania said that she could not achieve my natural haircolor with bottle dye, and would hate to have to continue to touch up and touch up and touch up until i can cut off the blond. I really appreciated her being honest about it. She also wants to work with me to help my budget to be able to afford her work. So hopefully the amount I'm willing to give won't scare her away. If not, she knows that I'll go back to dying my own hair.
