Up here at UCSC we have things called "Poetry Slams" - they're structured poetry competitions. It's like a combination of theater and poetry. There's a HUGE following. Some of the poets here are pretty damn good... but none of them can top the magnificence of your poetic genius.

Which brings me to my next point.

The next slam is a cover slam. I wanna "cover" your poetry. Would that be OK? I'd like to show these metaphor slingin' suckas stuff from a truly poetic mothafucka!
