I told you I would reply to this, so I am, even though my reactions are limited, indefinite, ambiguous. You seem to have dashed out quite an artfully postmodern account of your night; of course it leaves me feeling sympathy and a desire to reassure you, but to offer you the "counsel" you asked for, I will need to talk to you live to coax out a better sense of what's going on and what you're feeling in the now. - Which will likely be different by the time you read this. One day's distance can make things look a lot different. That will probably be good in this case.
