Have you looked into these? They're a re-usable polar fleece diaper. Noriko was curious about them, but they were too hard to order in Japan.

I guess what's nice about polar fleece is that poop doesn't really stick.

Poop doesn't stick to the polar fleece, but it does stain the inserts. I just put oxiclean on the insert before the first rinse. It slowly fades.
