If you knew me you would say I'm a broken record on this, but with those symptoms make sure they check your thyroid. And if they say it's fine ask them for the results and if your TSH isn't at least under 3, closer to 1 or 2 is best, bug them to treat you;).
Just having had a baby will have your hormones all messed up and thyroid is one that starts to happen after childbirth for a lot of women and depression is one of the symptoms, plus all the others you mentioned;). Hope you can get it sorted out, I know it's a sucky place to be, especially when you're young and have a new baby!
hormones too, all that breastfeeding make you sleepy and introverted. It's a good thing for baby, you focus on the baby and shut out the world. I think it really pulls down the sex drive as well. It's natural and it will pass, but it isn't fun in the mean time

I read up on Patchouli in my book on aromatherapy for health professionals, it says it is non-toxic, non-sensitizing, non-allergenic. The dosage they recommend is much much higher than the few drops I use and it is an excellent treatment for depression. If you find the few drops in the cup of oil to be too lightly scented you could add a few drops more, it's really powerful stuff though, less is more I think.
