thank you:) i just delight in her. she's so cheerful and sweet.

do you maybe have any suggestions about what i could do in the middle? i'm thinking of making the outside corner red squares more of an L shape instead of how they are now. and i'm thinking of using some of the green i used for leaves and some red to make a square in the middle. i'm also considering putting another strip of the blue paisley and the green paisley down the middle. i'm just not sure. i can't get the math right for some reason:(

I think a small red block in the center would look good, sometimes you've just got the put the fabric there and stand back and look at it, maybe leave the room and come back and see how you feel about it.

so sorry about the job, prayed for you this evening!

she is so cute and looks very alert, just a lovely little girl!

and I like the quilt a lot, the snakes are cool, I like it when things like this are personal!

ohhh thank you! i know that the universe must have something else in store for me, but i was just so SURE i was going to get that job. sigh.

nona is definitely alert. she takes little catnaps during the day, but when she's awake she's like a little bundle of energy... always squealing, babbling, mimicking noises... it's adorable.

as for the quilt, i'm trying to figure out what to do in the middle. i don't know if i want to leave it like it is or maybe add more of the green i used for the leaves. i'm just unsure because the math was wrong and it threw me off to have all that extra space. the golden fabric was an afterthought. i don't even know if i should keep it on the outside edges. hmmph!

have you started your new job yet? :)

I am sure something gret will come along, just keep your spirits up, you'll be great!

love those baby noises.......so SWEET

I am very unexperienced with quilting, I think ljoa has a good eye though, a red square would give a focal point

2 weeks left until my new position and one week is a paid holiday ....yay!... so 5 more workdays where I am, a week off when I will be seeing family from 5 hours away, and then the new job.. I am psyched, I think it's going to be fantastic!
