I am so sorry!

for all of it especially you losing your aunt and your MIL not being supportive.

somehow even a dorm room would be better then sharing life with her......... can Josh get school housing? can you live there with him?

he's still in community college at this point, so no housing available yet. but the universities all offer family housing that we'd all be welcome to live in.

just pray that i get a job that will allow us to afford rent and josh and i will be out of here as soon as possible! i can't take it anymore!!

thanks diana. i know my aunt is in a much better place now. she had kind of a hard life. before she got sick, she was working like 3 or 4 jobs to make ends meet, so i know that she can rest easy now and just enjoy watching over all of us. and i have a feeling that she's hanging out with jonah all day long now:)

so when will he be going to uni?
count the hours :D

I will be praying, I promise :)

that is so beautiful, I am sure she is with Jonah now too, I think she is very happy that she can be with him for you and that she can watch over you.

Wow, what an experience you have had lately- I'm so very sorry you lost your aunt. How sad for everyone who loved her. Hugs to you all. :( And your MIL- wow- I don't even know what the heck to say about that. It would be REALLY nice if you both could find somewhere else to live. Yikes!!!!

i appreciate it. i think everyone will be okay. it took a lot of suffering before she passed, so i know that everyone was relieved that she isn't in pain anymore. i think that it's hardest on her son who just turned 21 though. poor guy:(

the whole point of moving here was so i wouldn't have to work full time while josh was in school, but now the only way to save my sanity seems to find a full time job and move out until we can get family housing when he transfers to a university. *sigh* what a waste of a move, you know? we could have stayed where we were and i would have found a job a lot easier than i have here because i'd have all my connections up there. it just sucks.

I think it's just hard living with parents as they still feel a need to "parent", when at your age, they should be letting you live your lives without feeling the need to comment. I still have a father and mother who feel they need to comment and direct me at my age. Very, very frustrating, and it's enough to make me want to move away even though I love them dearly. My in-laws have stayed out of everything- not so with MY parents. ugh! So sorry this all happened for you, I guess it's a learning experience, and now you both will just have to figure things out from here. Hugs to you!!

thanks. i know! well i feel like a saint but i know i'm not. i complain about it to my poor husband whenever my MIL does anything to piss me off. poor guy is caught in the middle all the time. i just can't wait to get out of here!

Living with family can be stressful, we tried it with my parents to care for my mom and it was not pleasant even though they were not demanding at all. A new family needs to have their own space to become a family. You are in my prayers!
