For years, my father has been a dark cloud on my horizon. I have a wonderful life now, but I had to fight off a lot of daddy issues to get to this point. Will I ever completely get over it? Probably not, because my beginnings are as much a part of me as my present and my future will eventually be.

kudos to you... i totally agree. i think everyone has those kind of people in their lives at some point. and sometimes blood or not we need to cut them loose. ::hugs:: im so glad you have a wonderful hubby :]
