A sudden ray of hope.

Personally im for stem cell research. The controversy of killing embroyos doesn't apply anymore, there are other ways to harvest stem cell (last i checked) and the benefits are enormous. did a gp essay about this before and there are alot of sticky ethical issues but basically i believe stem cell research can really help cure alot of diseases :) eh eh why the sudden intrest?

If they're able to find a cure soon enough... I'll be eternally grateful. For mankind. I remembered Lelambigai talking about stem cell research (she was really excited when she announced it to the class) and I thought it was for... plants! Hahaha I just read up about it a little here and there so I don't really know much about it but I know it will be revolutionary. Are you into this? I want to know more!

stem cell research. my professor from CGH just talked about it a month or two back. he told us that development can be very very slow. it's because stem cells can evolve into practically tissue you want. (sort of) but it takes decades to get big organs.
