Fillin' things in.

Wishlist from Tiggy. (I did this one on deviantArt last year!)

# Make a post (public, friends-locked, filtered... whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of ten holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV"). The important thing is to make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

# If you wish for real life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) can get in touch with you. Your home address is not required!

# Make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ, or link to this post (it'll be public) so that the holiday joy will spread.

STEP TWO

# Surf around your friends list (or friendsfriends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now, here's the important part...

# If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes one person's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use - or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free - do it.

# You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf - to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not - it's your call. There are no guarantees with this project, and no strings attached. Just... wish, and it might come true. Give and you might receive. You'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

In no particular order:

1. Art supplies or money for art supplies. (Specifically, Moleskine sketchbooks, preferably the little ones; Super Sculpey and Super Sculpey Firm; Prismacolor markers; mirrors; semiprecious gems; paintbrushes; paint; micron pens; and pretty much everything else.)
2. A deviantArt subscription.
3. Fabrics. (Lately I've gotten into making little plush thingers, and it's really fun!)
4. TIME. O wow, I never have enough time, and I really need it, too. So many art, so little time.
5. Admission into the schools I apply to :|.
6. A typewriter.
7. Dragons for my collection. Actually, lately I've expanded my collection, so. Dragons, phoenixes, gargoyles, pegasi, et cetera.
8. Umm..I should start saving money for college, shouldn't I? Will kind of suck, being an art student. You never stop buying school supplies. And if I end up going to the school I want, I'll be cooking for myself more often. I need a wok...
9. My friends. Especially a few certain someones. Come to Boston to tour colleges! I don't care if you're already in college, just find an excuse.
10. Awesomeness. I needs it.

List ofax from Rachel.

Here's how you play: Once you've been tagged you have to write a note with 15 weird/random facts about you. At the end you choose 15 people to tag. List their names and the reason why you're tagging them.

Fifteen Things You Probably Didn't Know:

1. Sometimes I feel like one of those overdramatic kids who have more than they're thankful for, because my life probably shouldn't be causing me as much stress as it very often does.
2. I will never overcome my fear of not being good enough.
3. Even though I never think I'm good enough, I also have a strangely inflated ego alongside my extremely low self-esteem. It's conflicting. And it doesn't make sense.
4. I am reading Twilight and plan to read the following three books, but only because I want justification in my rants on how most modern popular (by which I mean literally everyone knows what you're talking about; ie Eragon, Twilight) fantasy is distressingly sub-par.
5. My world circles around several things: art, literature, the comparatively few friends I have, and - the newest addition - my Mollycat.
6. Despite my stance that size should not play a role in social acceptability, I'm still rather upset with myself.
7. I can't wait for college (assuming I get in).
8. That's when I'm going to reinvent myself, because you're not allowed to do that in high school, but in college nobody knows you.
9. Also, I will be able to learn to use a bunch of different art mediums, which I've been wanting to do forever.
10. The weekend after Thanksgiving, Danielle and I are going to recruit as many people as possible to dress up as Christmas trees with me and walk around Boston. She's going to take pictures of us and people's reactions to us and make it into a photo project. We might hand out candy canes. It's going to be epic.
11. Sometimes I really wish I had wings.
12. I should be working on college essays.
13. I'm not a romantic, but I think I sort of am.
14. You probably won't hear me admit that ever again.
15. Also, I might be in love. Which sucks.

I tag anyone who wants to do this.
