That was fairly pretty and reasonably cheap. Dunno if it comes in white as it's officially a bride's maid dress. Fits very well, though it won't necessarily show off your kickin' legs. ;) It's got a very nice drape, and looks nice. It's also got a shawl you can do pretty things with. Worth a look and possibly a try on since it's at David's and easily accessible. :)

Hmmm, had a few more, I guess I never updated my edit. Oh well!

I just want that dress, period, how purdy! I'm not really looking for a short wedding dress anyway, there will be plenty of other times to show off my legs, hehe. :)

And while I'm no longer really opposed to white, I'm also not sold on it. I really liked the honeydew color (sorta lighter, but not white). But damn, I also love half the colors it comes in.

While I can look at models in dresses until the cows come home (ok - bad analogy I guess, but...), I won't know what I'm looking for until I try stuff on and see how things work with my hulky shoulders and such! It's about time to head to a bridal shop soon and at least do some peek-seeing. Thanks!

I almost chose that one as my dress. The shawl it comes with, I was thinking of rigging up something clever so that it was kind of pinned to the back of the straps (on the back, I mean) and draped in a pretty and cunning way. And the shawl is sheer enough so that it doesn't really completely cover, but just... yeah. Pretty and drapey. :) I can get into more detail if'n you want.

I'm gonna go make an appointment and try on some stuff in a week or 2 there, I think that to get any further I'm going to need to see what things look like on. Whether I go with a dress there or a dress somewhere else or have a dress made, I need to see what shapes look good on me. I can love it on the 6 foot tall 100 lb model, but I need to see how things look on me. :)
