“But. Well. We’re okay? You’re okay? That’s it,” Hank reaffirms, a little stunned. That can’t be it. His word alone can’t be enough, shouldn’t be enough. Apologies only work because the person who wronged you owes you something, and they know it.
THIS. Pretty much how I feel every time I apologize to a significant other and they let it go. Though I'm single right now, so that might be some explanation. Anyway, hopefully Hank will progress further than I have. Thanks for the wonderful update and I look forward to the next installment :)
