If there’s one thing that angers me,

It’s someone or something holding me back.

Each of these limits I put behind me

Gets me one step closer to being on track.

Walking Between Raindrops

Sometimes, on these kinds of days

I feel I can walk between raindrops,

I’ll step outside and it starts to pour

I decide to go inside, the rain quickly stops.

There is no sign on my front door,

Nothing that says “maximum security”,

At my age, I didn’t think this place
