Just wanna let you know that I am reading. I picked up Lisa this morning and I have been meaning to get to your LJ posts but just didnt manage to make it!

I so laughed at the Bojangles saloon. Wow how interesting. Did you take photos of that?

I am loving this. I will let you know how mu day went but right now i am so beat lol

Awesome! Sounds like an incredible day filled with lots and lots of cultural learning, everything from the Kite to the RFDS what a NEAT concept! And it definitely makes sense y'know? Also really neat to hear that so many of the kids would at first learn by shortwave and that now they've got internet and webcam and stuff to help that's fantastic!

I hope you indulged a little bit and bought some material, even if it's just enough for maybe a central point for one of your quilts. You deserve to have some kind of deeply special reminder of all this, something you can hand down anyway... it's just a thought.
