Quorra watched with fascination, her head canted, hand reaching up when Wendy was sewing up Peter’s shadow as if to touch them. She wanted to. And then Peter was teaching them flight, she wanted that, too, it would be so amazing to be able to fly. When Tinkerbell started sprinkling over the children, Quorra made a strangled noise and bounded up from her nest on the couch.
"Where…"
She waved Eric back down, and came back a moment later with the glitter from her makeup.
Quorra couldn't get enough of the ocean. Dawn, evening, weekends. Whenever anyone suggested going to the beach, she would find a way to get her job done and be ready.
But even with the light, with the sight of the sky overhead, with the smells, with the winds, with the laughter, with all she could have up on the shore, when she found out that they were working to cleanse the Sea of Simulation… her joy was immense, unlimited.
Then she knew what Flynn had been talking about, all that time, of the thrill of being able to come. Home.
Wandering was ambling aimlessly, carelessly, among the streets of Arjia, knowing that she would meet her friends later, but content to soak in the beauty of her City.
Wandering was walking along the shore of the Sea, so close and yet so thoroughly unreachable.
Wandering was walking, slow and aimless and broken, hopeless through the Outlands. No direction. Nothing to hold on to.
Wandering was pacing across the streets around the Arcade, smells and sights and sounds flooding her senses and almost drowning out her grieving heart, while she waited Sam to finish the backup of the System, her home.
The day and evening had been filled with so many emotions that she didn't know how she contained them - the ceremony, the bright eyes all around her, the waves of laughter and even tears.
The night had gone over that, passion blossoming and flowing over them, again and again until they were exhausted, and then the realization of what they were for each other now started them all over again, the first signs of the approaching dawn finally seeing them drift off.
Now she was awake, curled up in her husband's arms, watching the clear blue sky through the window.

"This won't work as fairy dust, right?"
He shook his head, eyes helpless. She pouted.

"Hmm? Oh. Leave it, I'll clean up in a moment when I finish with this."
"But… I was eating that!"
"Yeah. But it fell to the floor. You shouldn't eat it after that."
"But it's still in the bowl! Not really on the floor!"
"Quorra! It's not clean here, as inside. It's not safe to--"
"And also, Marv's eating it."
"Of course he is." … "What are you doing?"
"Having ice-cream."
"On the floor? With my dog?"
"Mm-hmm."
"Right. I'm finding you that viruses-and-bacteria book-" she smiled radiantly at him "-if it's even applicable."
