Halloween/Spooky Prompt Response Contest
October is finally here, and with Halloween at the end of the month, I thought maybe we could try a bit of a contest. Behind the cut are tons of prompts from sources such as Edgar Allan Poe, lyrics by Evanescence and other quotes meant to put you in a spooky mood.
How It Works
~ Each muse/mun will write a response to one of the prompts & post it to quote_prompts.
~ At the end of the month, the members will vote for their favorite posts.
~ Depending on the number of responses, there will be 5 awards: First, Second, Third, Honorable Mention & Mod's Choice.
~ Award banners will be provided.
~ The contest will close at midnight, EST (GMT -5) October 30.
~ The polls will open on Halloween & the winners will be announced November 5.
Rules
~ Try to keep the gratuitous chainsaw massacres to a minimum. We're going for "spooky," and "creepy" here, not "eww gross!"
~ If you are entering the contest, you must put "Contest Entry" in the subject. My crystal ball is in the shop for repairs at the moment.
~ You're welcome to answer more than one prompt. However, you are only allowed to enter one prompt in the contest.
