"The noun doesn't matter after an adjective like 'multiple.' Nothing good ever follows 'multiple.'"

New rule: no coffee past 10pm. Make a note of it. I spent the night too tired to sleep, and I think I already need a nap. All in all, however, it was more than worth some tossing and turning in exchange driving down to Winston-Salem to see fantastic friends.

Quiet week for the internets. )

The Sound and the Fury is the most Faulkner-y of Faulkner. At least As I Lay Dying had clear characters who where (mostly) sane. And I'm sure that most of Faulkner has rape or incest. It must be a southern thing.

If you find a reason to read Faulkner other than as a warning, let me know, because I haven't found it yet.

(Ever since "that one class" I go into a fury for a while whenever he's mentioned)

So one might say you go into a sounding fury? :P (Oh crap, did I just make a Faulknerian pun??)

I really loved Faulkner's The Unvanquished, which is why I thought I liked him as an author. I have yet to read anything by him that I enjoy, though. I keep trying...

I did enjoy Barn Burning, for what it's worth. But sometimes, I just don't know...

If you've read Twilight, you have to read Harry Potter. It's a law. Somewhere. Like this apartment. :-p

Sam: Fair enough. Though, in my defense, I enjoyed Harry Potter far, far more than Twilight.
Matthew: I know, she's always talking like a sailor, our Sam.
