Do you mean if a visitor persuaded him to eat the clinic-issued food, or brought something more appreciably authentic that he might be receptive to?

He was highly upset the last time I visited, but I intend on trying again tomorrow, if that is alright.

Either. He could be brought our food and I think he might eat it if he doesn't know it's from us, or he might eat somethintg if he knows for certain we haven't touched it.
