The first time Sanghyuk meets Hongbin, he thinks about how strange it is he has never noticed a stowaway on his ship until now… and then Hongbin grows a tail and Sanghyuk realises with dawning horror that he may have just accidentally kidnapped the mermaid prince.

“So you’re telling me,” Hongbin says, pointedly ignoring Sanghyuk in the bowler hat and suit ensemble, “that you went to America just so you could find Justin Timberlake and ask him to teach you to dance for the sole purpose of bringing sexy back to Korea?”

He’s wearing a coat he would never have been caught dead in and his hair colour is all wrong, but when Hongbin smiles that familiar smile Sanghyuk realises that he really is the same hyung he knew all those years ago.

They run with hands interlinked through the rain-soaked streets and share their first kiss of Winter by the doorstep of their shared home, lips numb from the cold but souls on fire with their shared delight.

Groaning in suppressed agony, Sanghyuk throws his head under the icy cold water and tries not to think about Hongbin wearing his pants in his apartment and using his shower, because going hard from the thought of someone else going hard is a little too much, even for him.
