Good catch! Yes, it's a third-hand story and should be taken as such. I actually went through all the comments though (um, I'm kind of a nut for Holocaust stories), and various people have piped up with stories from their grandparents or documentaries or academic essays on the matter. She's contacting the US Holocaust Museum to look into verifying or documenting it. Personally, I'd be more surprised if there *weren't* Jewish women in the brothels.

HI!! :) I'm sorry we missed Meat Faucet! (ishaa is PARTICULARLY sorry, as he craves the flesh of dead things.) We kind of screwed up and didn't accurately pinpoint the date/time until it was too late to actually go.

yeah - well the brothel stories avail online all seem to stress the non-jewish blah blah blah.... I did find a couple of people who say otherwise - but they offered no proof. And the avail "proof" seems to be in the form of trashy fiction or plays written. Which probably portray the truth as much as fiction - but it gives ammo to those people who say it never happened that way. Hard to prove either way - since people didn't / wouldn't talk about such things...and those who did "fictionalized it" in order to protect themselves or others - would be my guess.

no - worries - meat faucet's can happen again - we try to do in groups for an occasion - because otherwise we all eat waaay too much too quickly. If you wanted to go some weekend, you can always just call or drop us a line - if we're avail - we'd probably say yes.
