A rock-type or an electric-type would be effective against Falkner's birds, but any well-trained pokemon can do the job.

A Great ball might catch a Pidgey at full strength, but not something bigger. An Ultra ball might do the job, but the higher-leveled the pokemon, the less likely it gets. [ A small sigh. It seems the more he talks the more of a headache he's giving himself, haha. ]
