Wow. I've forgotten that I even had a LiveJournal. Last entry was September 20, 2006, right when I was waiting to leave Canada to go to England for the first time. And today is my last day in England and I'll be going home to Canada for good (for now, at least

Well, I do know how you feel. I've done what you're doing twice. It doesn't get particularly easier each time or anything. Things will have changed, as will people's stories and situations and all you can really do is hope they'll give you a chance to catch up.
