Yeah, it's a CENTURY INTERNATIONAL ARMS WASR-3. Sadly Russian made AK's are very expensive here now. Over $1,000.00 even! They are the best AK's around though! =)

it was actually a AK47 rifle he got out of his step dad's closet.

this happened here, where i live, the store i go in 3 times a week.
so whenever i look at any form of those type of guns i get reminded of this and i get goosebumpers.

I don't know the policy on concealed carry where you live but if anyone tried that shit in my town they'd have 50 gun owners lighting them up before they claimed their first victim. Also, the dad is an irresponsible gun owner if he had an AK just sitting in his closet. My final note is that it was the kid who was a fucking psycho, not the gun. ;)

I totally agree! I just can't afford one. Plus once I'm in that price range I'd rather just get another AR-15. I REALLY want an LWRC M6A2 or Alexander Arms Grendel. I started to save for the Grendel, but I don't think I can get one before HE takes them away. Right before the election I bought a .40 Taurus as my new carry gun, had I known, I would have put the money toward a rifle. haha

Yea LWRC is on my list as well but I am going to splurge on LMT MRP piston upper first. I know my friend gets LWRC in a lot lately at his shop (Gun Gallery in Jax) even with the crazy AR buying going on. I am trying to get a few more lowers, that is if the AWB goes in and it is the same as the one before. Uppers will always be around. I

It's all gonna come down to how I feel when the check comes. haha I think my ADHD is going to decide for me. I know if I see a good rifle when the check comes, I'm going to buy it. I was thinking of getting a stock AK, and a cheaper welding helmet. Then I can just buy a Tapco parts kit for the AK and install it myself later. I think i'm gonna run up to Ready Aim Fire tomorrow and see how much they can get me an AK for, since they give me that discount. (Cause they ruuule!) I THINK they let you shoot up to .223 there, anything of a higher caliber we have to hit the farm in Furlong, PA. BTW, did I tell you I get a free guest at RAF? I forget. haha If you're going to concealed carry the handgun, I'd go for that. If not, I'd be pretty torn right now as well. haha

I plan to apply for concealed carry eventually, but 350 - 400 is a lot easier to come up with than 1000. Also, I might be running out of time to get grandfathered in on any legislation that gets passed. I want that rifle in my greedy little hands before it is too late.
