I love the idea of parents ordering their out-of-state-college-going daughter to stop seeing someone. Yeah, good luck with that. Look on the bright side, at least they can't have you arrested (anymore).

Whatever the price of higher education is, you see illiterate fucks in college, too. That's the thing about school you pay for: it does about as much good as school you don't pay for. People just go through the motions, get their paper, get the attendant respect, and forget everything they learned. Shitstains like that don't get filtered out until grad school, and if you're talking business, you can forget it.

I feel equally happy to see 2007 gone. Being diagnosed with MS took the fun out of it on my end. I wish a 2008 of joy for both of us!
